Weather conditions are being blamed for an accident in Cole County that sent a Lake Ozark woman to the emergency room. The highway patrol says it happened around 3:15 Thursday afternoon when the car driven on highway-54, near Pleasant Hill, started to slide on wet pavement before traveling off the roadway and striking a tree. 52-year-old Maria Davis was wearing a seat belt and escaped with minor injuries…she was treated at Lake Regional Hospital.
