White Goods Collection Coming in Osage Beach

Osage Beach, with a through a Department of Natural Resources grant, and in cooperation with the Lake Ozarks Solid Waste Management District, is planning to host a Lake-area white goods recycling event. It’s 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weekdays from May 7-18. A large dumpster will be in the parking lot of the Public Works Department at 5757 Chapel Drive. Refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, stoves, air conditioners, water heaters and dishwashers can be dropped off. Freon will be reclaimed from refrigerators and air conditioners and all will be recycled for scrap metal. For more information, call 302-2020.
