The Camdenton man accused of assault, kidnapping, and unlawful use of a weapon won’t have a trial. 49-year old John Williams pleaded guilty in Pulaski County Court. The charges go back to an incident last year involving his wife. Camden County deputies arrested Williams after a weekend with his wife on charges including kidnapping, felonious restraint, armed criminal action, second-degree domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon. The case ended up with the Missouri Attorney General’s office. Five different judges were involved, but all recused themselves. A sixth judge took the plea.
