Wind Advisory/Red Flag Warning Issued For Lake Area
A high wind advisory remains in effect for the Lake Area.
The National Weather Service says sustained winds of 20-30 Miles an Hour are expected, with gusts as high as 40-55 Miles an Hour.
That’s prompting a Red Flag No Burn warning across the community, as winds could carry embers that would start a wildfire.
NWS officials also recommend using caution if you’re traveling on area roadways in a Recreational Vehicle or a Tractor Trailer.
