Officials with the National Weather Service have issued a Winter Weather Advisory and a Wind Advisory for the entire Lake region.

They say snow will spread across the region on Friday, with minor accumulations expected, ranging from 1 to 2 inches.

Here is an estimated timeline of snowfall chances through the day on Friday

Gusty winds of 30 to 45 mph are also expected on Friday, with occasional gusts up to 50 mph. Travel may become difficult at times. Additionally, gusty winds combined with snow may create blowing snow and reduced visibilities.

A Blizzard Warning is in effect for portions of northwestern Missouri with this same storm.
