The snow has created slick, messy conditions. Numerous wrecks have been reported…mostly fender-benders, but the Highway Patrol reports two fatal accidents, one in Lincoln County and the other near Lake St. Louis.
In the Lake of the Ozarks area, 26-year-old Megan Pineda of Camdenton lost control of her car while driving on Missouri 87 just north of the Moreau River Bridge in Miller County, went off the road and struck a rock bluff. She was taken to Lake Regional Hoapital by ambulance.
Also in Miller County, Tommy White of Branson lost control of his vehicle, went off the roadway and overturned on eastbound Highway 54 just west on MM this morning. His Ford Explorer was totaled, and he was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital.
In Morgan County, 44-year-old Allen Holtzclaw of Versailles was seriously injured when his car slid off Highway 5 jsouth of TT, went down an embankment, overturned and landed on its top. A passenger, 23-year-old Sheena Lee, was also hurt. Both were transported by EMS to Lake Regional in Osage Beach.
