Winter Weather in the Lake area

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Benton and Morgan Counties and a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Camden and Miller counties.  2 to 5 inches of snow is expected in Camden and Miller County while up to 8 inches expected in Morgan County.  With a strong snowstorm moving into Central Missouri, the State Highway Patrol is warning drivers to avoid getting on the roads if possible.  Captain Gregory Kindle Commanding Officer of Troop “f” has issued an advisory urging motorists not to travel over the next couple days except for emergency purposes.
