Woman Accused Of Robbing Churches In Laclede County Captured In Alabama

A woman accused of robbing churches southwest of the Lake Area is headed back to Missouri.

Police say 42-year-old Claressia Gibbs and her son stole vans and equipment from two churches in Phillipsburg in August 2019.

Investigators say Gibbs was arrested in Dothan, Alabama and she’s being extradited to Missouri to face charges.
