The Camden County Sheriff’s Office arrests a woman who claims to have explosives in her backpack. Deputies were dispatched to Clover Point in Four Seasons on reports of a disturbance. When they arrived they found that Jessica Bates had also broken windows out of a car. The claim that she had explosives turned out to be false. A press release from the Sheriff’s office says the 41-year old was arrested and charged with first-degree disturbing the peace, first-degree property damage, and resisting arrest. According to Casenet, the formal charges filed are second-degree property damage, resisting arrest, and fourth-degree assault special victim.
