A Gravois Mills woman accused of killing a man nine years ago will be in a Camden County courtroom on Monday asking for a new judge in her cases. 37-year old Clara Rector of Gravois Mills is charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of Tommy Hope in 2004. She is also facing an aggravated stalking charge in an unrelated case. Rector was arrested in April for allegedly stalking her pastor and while in custody she confessed to killing Hope. The probable cause statement says Rector stabbed Hope to death over drugs. She was a person of interest in the case in 2004 but authorities did not have enough evidence to charge her. Rector is scheduled to go on trial in both cases in March.
