A woman involved in the death of a teenage girl near Warsaw has been sentenced to 5 years in prison. According to Court documents, Amy Hartley had pleaded guilty to child endangerment in Benton County court involving the death of 15 year old Khighla Parks in 2012. Prosecutors say that Parks was raped and murdered by Anthony Balbarnie at Hartley’s home in Buffalo. They also say Hartley and Balbarnie took her body to Truman Lake, weight it down and dumped her, but her body resurfaced several days later. Earlier this year Larry Warner plead guilty to reduced charges of conspiracy and child endangerment and Balbarnie himself faces trial in March on a change of venue to Cooper County.
