A lake area camp that provides outdoor experiences for people with disabilities is gearing up for their 2019 season. Wonderland Camp is currently accepting applications for employees and campers alike.
Board President Jill Wilke says campers range in age from young kids to people in their 80’s, with many who’ve been attending for 30 years or more. Kids ages 6-17 have a chance to attend free of charge during the week of July 28th through August 2nd. That’s Rotary week and the club will cover the expenses for the first 30 kids to sign up. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the camp, and they’ll hold a year-end celebration in mid-September. For more information including job applications go to www.wonderlandcamp.org.
