The principal at Woodland School in Marble Hill accused of domestic assault doesn’t work there any more. Woodland Superintendent Jennings Wilkinson would only say that Hershel Beckwith no longer works for the district. Beckwith was arrested March 27 for domestic assault. Police say he was staying at a Camden County hotel for a school principals meeting when he’s alleged to have assaulted his girlfriend. Responding officers told him not to have any contact with his girlfriend for 12 hours. Police say while talking with the girlfriend, Beckwith called her. He was arrested.
