Work continues on the five year Capital Improvement Plan for the City of Camdenton. An update was given during Tuesday night’s meeting of the Board of Alderman. The Plan includes the construction of major facilities and infrastructure and possibly even a new Community Center if certain criteria are met. A draft of the five year budget will be reviewed by the Board during its meeting on June 2nd. In other business from Tuesday’s meeting, City Administrator Jeff Hancock reported the recent open house at the airport was a great success and it was also announced the Veteran’s Memorial Monument Committee is making good progress regarding the proposed monument at the airport.
