Lake Ozark residents who want to learn more about a proposal for a Transportation Development District along Bagnell Dam Boulevard will have a chance to learn more next week. The Board of Aldermen will hold a work session on Tuesday, November 19th to discuss the plan. The city itself has nothing to do with the TDD, which would be an independent entity if approved by voters. It would create a 1% sales tax along Bagnell Dam Boulevard that would be used to repave and maintain the road. Under the proposal discussed by Mayor Gerry Murawski, the TDD money would also fund a parking garage and the Bagnell Dam Strip Express bus. Development of a TDD could also free-up other city funds to be used to repair other streets within Lake Ozark. Tuesday’s meeting will be held at 6pm at Heritage Elementary School.
