A MoDot project placed on hold a few weeks ago is set to start again in a little over a week. Replacement of the Route 54 Outer Road bridge over Linn Creek has been in a holding pattern while crews were waiting for warmer weather to pour concrete. MoDot says they’ll start working on the project again on Monday, April 9th. When they do, the bridge will only be accessible for those traveling east. They’ll be tearing down the old bridge and building the remaining section of the new one. For westbound motorists, you’ll need to use the U.S. Route 54 crossover to connect to the Route 54 east crossover. MoDot says that phase of the project should take about 75 days to complete.
