New turkey hunters have a chance to learn more about the sport and how to be successful at it as part of upcoming workshop sponsored by the Department of Conservation. The introductory workshop scheduled for March 20th in Rolla is designed to help get you ready to bag a big bird during the spring season. It’s open to anyone over 10 years of age. Those under 16 years old do need to be accompanied by an adult. MDC staff will teach about hunting methods, clothing, scouting, and wild turkey biology. For more information call Travis Miller at 368-2590, extension 1586.
