Boats are no longer coming off the assembly line at the G3 plant in Lebanon.

Officials halting production in an effort to curb the spread of COVID 19.

The decision is part of a nationwide move by plant owner Yamaha Motors, who maintains the production site along with other locations in numerous states.

Company officials say they will pay their employee’s wages based on a regular 40-hour work week for hourly employees and all salary personal will continue to work remotely for the next week.

The company will be evaluating and adjusting their closure as the weeks go by.
