The City of Osage Beach puts its stamp of approval on the second reading of an ordinance to approve a funding agreement for consideration of a proposal for tax incentive support for the outlet mall redevelopment.
Among the economic tools that may assist in the project, according to a request from the developer Osage Beach Investment Group LLC, include a tax increment financing plan, a chapter-100 plan, a petition to create a community improvement district, establishing a transportation development plan and other related economic development tools and documents.
The ordinance was passed unanimously during this week’s Osage Beach Board of Aldermen meeting.
The City Attorney tells KRMS News that the decision allows for the developer to pay for the city’s attorneys and consultants.
