The Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives reports around 700 customers in Morgan and Benton counties were without power this morning.
Most of those were in Benton County with 592 member-consumers of the Co-Mo cooperative without power and another 104 member-consumers also with Co-Mo were without power in Morgan County.
The outages were reported just after 4:00 with the Co-Mo website indicating that the cause was unknown.
In the meantime, the National Weather Service reported thunderstorm wind damage in the Long Lane area of Dallas County west of Lebanon which also knocked out power to hundreds.
And flooding was reported along State Highway-BB which was closed at Gabriel Creek one mile southeast of Florence in Morgan County.
