KC Royals Win Home Opener Against Twins

It was the home opener for the Royals in Kansas City.

They do not disappoint the home fans in a three to one win over the visiting Minnesota Twins.

Chris Boobich returning to the rotation.

The lefty was sensational, 6 innings, a run on just two hits, 4 strikeouts and three walks.

He got offense from maybe a couple of unexpected locations.

Kyle Isabel, who had a very good track record against the twin starter. Simeon Woods Richardson, he goes deep for his first home run of the season.

Also going deep, his first home run as a Royal.

Isaac Collins, the acquisition from the Brewers.

He’s gotten off to a bit of a slow start. Maybe that is the spring.
