Man Facing Charges After Incident At Health Care Facility In Osage Beach

A 39-year-old Birch Tree man is being held without bond in the Camden County Jail after an incident on Wednesday at a health care facility in Osage Beach.

The probable cause statement filed alleges Tyler Murphy became upset when personnel would not provide him with the number of copies of a document that he requested before telling the employee she was dead, spitting on her and then punching and breaking two plexiglass windows and a computer screen at the nursing station.

Murphy is formally charged with misdemeanor assault involving special victims.
