Two Killed In Highway 50 Car Wreck

Two people are dead after a head-on collision late Tuesday night on U.S. 50 west of Monsees Road in Pettis County.

The highway patrol says it happened when the vehicle driven by a 58-year-old man from Smithton crossed over the center into the path of the vehicle driven by a 45-year-old woman from Green Ridge.

Both drivers died on the scene.
