Versailles Teen Killed in Miller County Traffic Accident on Highway 54

An 18-year-old boy from Versailles is dead following a one-car accident early Saturday afternoon on eastbound U.S. 54 near Midway Road in Miller County.

The highway patrol says the car traveled off the road and down a steep embankment before hitting a tree and overturning.

The teen was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead on the scene.
