MO State Fair Helps To Raise 720,000 Meals To Feed Kids

With food insecurity affecting one-in-five children statewide, the Missouri Farmers Care Foundation Drive to Feed Kids is being called a big success.

Agricultural leaders, FFA and 4H members, elected officials and a host of others teamed up at the recent state fair and were able to raise over 720,000 meals for the cause.

Since the program was launched nine years ago, the initiative has provided more than 13.7 million meals to children and families across the state.
