MODOT Remains Busy Finishing Road Projects Before Starting Winter Operations

It remains a busy time for MoDOT crews with several projects continuing around the lake area.

Central District Area Engineer Danny Roeger says, among the projects, work on Route-E in Laclede County and Route-C in Miller County is getting closer to being completed and, following that work, crews will then tackle Route-A in Camden County.

“For those who commute on Route A, you may notice the transitions have been milled…and we’re prepared to overlay Route A as well. So, excited that Camden A is probably a little bit ahead of schedule….and there intend to more than likely mobilize out, with asphalt operations, sometime in the middle of next week.”

Roeger goes onto say various other chip and seal projects as well as some mowing activities also continue and, before long, MoDOT will then start transitioning into its winter operations.
