A Bit Of A Break For Gravois Firefighters With Less Than Normal Call Loads

It was an unusual week for the Gravois Fire District with only one non-medical call received for the week ending this past Sunday.

Randy Scott, Division Chief of Training, says the district received 19 calls for the week…18 were medical calls and the other for a possible gas leak which forced a precautionary evacuation of the mini-mart on Washburn Road.

With the 19 calls for the week, Gravois personnel have now responded to 116 calls year-to-date.
