Augusta National Set For Next Week in The Golf World – Tiger Discusses His DUI From Florida

All right, let’s start in the world of golf.

A week from tomorrow, the first tee at Augusta National will be alive.

The Masters will get underway, and it would appear as if it will go down without Tiger Woods and it may be without Tiger in attendance anywhere on the grounds at Augusta National.

Tiger releasing a statement yesterday following his arrest for DUI late last week down in Florida.

Woods in that statement says, “I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today. I’m stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward a lasting recovery.”

He’s also committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally, “I appreciate your understanding and support and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones, and myself at this time.”

Now, as of this week would still showed up on the previous winners who were playing in this year’s event, but that again would appear as if it’s set to change.
