Another day another earthquake in Southern Missouri.
The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude 2.4 earthquake hit Thursday night near the Arkansas-Missouri border around 6:54 p.m.
They say it centered 1.7 miles east-southeast of Steele and 12 miles north-northeast of Blytheville.
According to the USGS preliminary report, the quake had a depth of 6.2 miles.
