Latest Flu Numbers Released With More Cases Statewide

Flu-related activity remains very high in the lake area and statewide.

The Department of Health and Senior Services says, for the week ending on the 7^th, the state recorded another 6,374 cases for a season-to-date total now topping 70,000 cases. Flu-related deaths statewide have also risen to 84.

In the lake area, there have been another combined 121 confirmed cases of the flu bringing the season-to-date total up to 918 cases.
