Crews from the Rocky Mount Fire Protection District responded to a home Friday night and again on Saturday morning. Crews responded to the home on Jade Road, off Highway W, around 9 o’clock Friday night for a fire they believe behind the home. They were able to contain it to the back, limiting the home to serious smoke and water damage. Saturday morning, around 10:30, crews were dispatched back to the home. They were able to contain it before the home was fully engulfed. The cause of the second fire is under investigation. No injuries were injured either night and, on the first night, Rocky Mount was assisted by Lake Ozark and Moreau County Fire Districts.
