Vitamin D Truly Helps Protect You From The Flu, Says British Researchers

Can vitamin D really help protect you against the flu…?

British researchers writing in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition analyzed data on 36,000 British adults.

They found people with a severe vitamin D deficiency were 33% more likely to be hospitalized with respiratory tract infections than those who were receiving adequate amounts.

Their recommendation, eat lots of foods high in vitamin D, such as oily fish, red meat, and egg yolks, as well as fortified milk and juices.
