Friday Night Storms Hit The Lake Area – More Storms Expected Tuesday

As expected, Mother Nature ramped it up Friday night with severe weather pushing its way across most of the lake area.

The bulk of the heavy stuff arrived between 9 and 10 with thunderstorm warnings being issued for Camden, Miller and Benton counties, and a tornado watch which was extended until 3-AM for the whole lake area.

As for any damage, preliminary reports from the National Weather Service were minimal in the lake area with some wind damage in the way of downed trees being reported by law enforcement in Miller and Benton counties.
