MCFD Conducts Dive Team Training

Going through the motions in the case of an actual emergency.

That was the order of the day over the weekend when the Mid-County Fire District’s Dive Team hit the water at the Westlake Aquatic Center for some training.

The training included underwater search techniques, victim location and coordinated surface support operations.

Chief Scott Frandsen says the regular training helps to ensure that the dive team is ready and prepared to put the skills in motion when needed for a real-life incident.
