This past weekend’s Easter egg hunt at the city park in Osage Beach is being called, perhaps, the most successful hunt of its kind since the city started offering the event.
“Kids everywhere, they were doing face painting and they had playhouses and they had people out there giving, had a food truck out there and the Victory Park church giving out the free hot dogs,” Says Mayor Michael Harmison.
Up for grabs for the kids were some 35,000 eggs with new bicycles going to several of the kids who found the golden eggs.
The parks department will take a breath and then start the planning process for the 2027 Easter Egg Hunt.
