Coming on the heels of two 13-year-old male students allegedly threatening to shoot up the middle school, Camdenton Police now say the district was targeted with a bomb threat.
Police say the threat originated from a male individual making calls to an 11-year-old male, an 11-year-old female and a 10-year-old female…all students in the Camdenton School District…saying that he would “bomb the school and no one would get out.”
The students attempted to FaceTime with the caller but the individual did not show his face.
Camdenton Police worked with the Missouri Highway Patrol and Napa, California, police to track down an 11-year-old male who admitted to making the calls and the bomb threat.
The father of the boy confirmed with authorities that his son has no connections in Camdenton, no means or intentions to travel to Camdenton and no intent on following through.
The matter is being turned over to the Napa, California, Police Department.
