Macks Creek Woman Seriously Injured in Camden County Accident

A Macks Creek woman is injured in an accident on U.S. 54 just west of Elliott Drive in Camden County.

The highway patrol says it happened around 7:00 Sunday morning when the SUV driven by the 25-year-old ran off the road before returning to the road and back off the opposite side where it struck a ditch and overturned.

The woman was not wearing a seat belt and was seriously hurt. She was taken to Lake Regional Hospital.
