Another Scam Alert Announced By MODOT And the DOR

Another day, another scam alert at Lake of the Ozarks.

The latest effort to lighten your wallets and pocketbooks involves receiving text messages claiming to be from MoDOT or the Missouri Department of Revenue.

The messages include threats to pay for an unpaid toll or traffic violation fee.

If you get one of the texts, you’re advised not to click on any links, delete the messages and report them to local law enforcement.
