Five People Injured In Boating Crash Involving A Submerged Log

Five people from St. Joseph, Missouri, are injured when the boat they were in struck a partially submerged log.

The highway patrol says it happened late Monday morning at 38.8 mile marker in Camden County.

The driver of the scarab, a 42-year-old man, and the four teens, ages 12 and 13, suffered minor injuries and were taken to Lake Regional Hospital.

None of the five were wearing a lifejacket at the time.
