K9 Distraction Blamed on Grounding at Lake of the Ozarks

A 27-year-old man from Kansas City is injured when the pontoon boat he was operating hit a rock bluff at the 15 mile marker of the main channel in Camden County.

The highway patrol says it happened around 7:00 Saturday evening when the man was distracted by a K-9 in the vessel.

The man suffered minor injuries and was taken by private conveyance to Lake Regional Hospital.

There was no mention on the highway patrol’s report about any injuries to the K-9.
