Missouri Upgraded from High to Moderate Flu Activity Level

The worst seems to be over when it comes to the influenza season which now puts Missouri in the moderate activity level.

For the week ending on March 21^st, there was only a combined 19 new confirmed cases in the lake area with the season-to-date total now at 1,761 cases.

Statewide, another 1,900 news cases were confirmed with the season-to-date total now standing at just under 117,000.

Flu-associated deaths statewide increased by 17 for the week now standing at 119.
