MO Department Of Revenue Officially Starts Accepting State Tax Returns For 2024

The Missouri Department of Revenue is now accepting electronically filed state tax returns for 2024.

The department is also reminding taxpayers of some best practices and available resources to help keep the process smooth.

Those tips include: file electronically and use direct deposit, double check your paper return, review tax credit guidelines and attach all required documentation. You can also use the department’s online services and resources, and utilize tax assistance services.

The due date for 2024 tax returns is April 15^th.
