Tuscumbia Man Dies After Accident on Rte-C in Miller County

A 47-year-old man from Tuscumbia is dead after a one-vehicle accident late Thursday afternoon on Route-C near Ulman Ridge Road in Miller County.

The highway patrol says it happened when the pickup truck ran off the road. The driver overcorrected sending the pick back across the roadway and off the opposite side before overturning onto a fence.

The man was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead a short time later at Lake Regional Hospital.
