A film production company riding along with a Lake Ozark police officer unexpectedly becomes a part of the action Friday night.
A probable cause statement filed by Lake Ozark police indicated officers were attempting to separate a minor altercation when a member of the film production company could be overheard telling Justin Carr, from Carthage, not to touch their equipment.
Carr was further instructed not to touch the equipment and allegedly failed to comply with directives from law enforcement who took him to the ground and deployed a taser to take him into custody.
Carr, who also reportedly wished death to one officer and his family before kicking the officer in the chest, is formally charged with felony assault special victim. He has since been released after posting a $10,000 bond.
Police also allege that alcohol was a factor in the incident.
