A Lake Ozark man is sentenced to at least 22-and-a-half years in prison after being sentenced in a plea deal in connection to a March-2023 shooting in the Village of Four Seasons.
Now 33-year-old James Mark had been charged with first-degree assault serious physical injury and armed criminal action after the shooting which happened at an apartment on Scarsdale Circle. Mark then left the scene and was taken into custody the following day.
In exchange for five other counts being dismissed, Mark was sentenced as a prior offender to serve at least 85% of a 15 year sentence on the assault charge and 10 years on the armed criminal action charge with the two sentences to be served consecutively.
Circuit Judge Kenneth Michael Hayden handed down the sentences against Mark.
