The U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Western District of Missouri says a federal indictment unsealed earlier this week charges two people with drug related offenses.
36-year-old Kurbin Menaugh and 44-year-old Robert Terry are accused of possessing 50 grams or more of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute. Menaugh is also charged with possessing a firearm during the drug-trafficking conspiracy.
If convicted, both could be sentenced to a minimum of 10 years up to a maximum of life in prison with Menaugh also facing a mandatory five years on the firearm charge.
The case was investigated as part of Operation Take Back America.
