Expanded traditional brick-and-mortar hospitality is beginning to take shape in the City of Lake Ozark.

Administrator Harrison Fry says a hotel going up in the area of the firehouse may not have hundreds of rooms when it does open but is expected to be five stories high with 60 rooms available.

You’re going to have those differently scaled hotels for different clienteles, whether they have a flag associated with them, the amenities that they have in place. You know, they’re all really trying to reach a different audience, whether that’s from a taste standpoint, financial standpoint, you know, there’s certainly nothing that would prohibit them from building a second, you know, an expansion down the road if they’re overtly successful.”

Fry also says the developer of the hotel, identified by Lake Expo as Robert Dullard from the Chicago area, plans a soft timeline of 18 months for construction to be complete and the doors open to the public.
