Two Seriously Hurt in Miller County Accident

A one-vehicle accident early Wednesday afternoon on eastbound-54 at Route-AA in Miller County sends two people to the emergency room with serious injuries.

The highway patrol says the vehicle driven by a 28-year-old woman from Jefferson City ran off the road and struck an embankment before going airborne and rolling several times.

The woman and her passenger, a 36-year-old St. Louis man, were both wearing seat belts at the time. They were taken to St. Mary’s.
