Camdenton Woman Injured Following Accident With Deer

A Camdenton woman is injured when the vehicle she was a passenger in struck a deer standing in the roadway on eastbound-54 near Monticello Road in Cole County.

The highway patrol says it happened around 10:30 Thursday morning.

The 62-year-old woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.

The driver, a 69-year-old man from Camdenton, was uninjured.
