Two Injured When Vehicle Hits Standing Water and Hydroplanes Off the Roadway

Two people are injured when the vehicle they were in late Sunday night hit standing water and hydroplaned before leaving the roadway and overturning.

The highway patrol says it happened on highway 52 at route-AA in Morgan County.

The driver, a 27-year-old man from Sunrise Beach, and a passenger, a 23-year-old man from Versailles, were both wearing seat belts and suffered minor injuries.

They were taken to Lake Regional Hospital.
